GWENNAP RINGING CENTRE – FORTHCOMING COURSES.
Courses run on Saturday mornings with bell handling tuition taking place from 9:30 until 10:30. The main courses commence at 10:00 a.m. with a half hour theory session held in the GRC Teaching room with the practical session running from 10:30 until 12:00.
At the present time, we are not running a formal or pre-planned programme. Due to changing demand and availability we have tried to adopt a more flexible attititude to the running of the centre. For the first part of this year we have concentrated on popular ‘Ringing Together’ courses. These have included helping people who have recently learned to handle or who have required further help with handling or with ringing as part of a team. The courses cover everything from ringing in rounds, call changes and rasing and lowering as part of a team. Please contact us if we can help in any way at all. If several ringers in your local tower or neighbouring towers wish to come to Gwennap as a team, please let us know and we will accommodate you.
Quarter Peals
Are you interested in either ring in a quarter peal or calling one, please let us know and we will be pleased to arrange one for you as soon as possible. Please do not hesitate to contact any member of the committee if we can help.
